CASA COOL

A charming three-bedroom villa with private pool on a small urbanisation in the heart of the Andalucian countryside, situated in the Valle Hermosa (Beautiful Valley), but only 3km from the extremely quaint, typically Spanish town of Coin. Local supermarkets, restaurants and shops are just a short drive away, and it takes only 25mins to reach the coastal resorts and Malaga airport. Seville, Granada and Cordoba, with much-improved new roads, are no more than two and a half hours away by car. A handy bar/restaurant is within a few minutes' walk.

This well-maintained cosy villa sleeps up to six with two double-bedded rooms (one with en suite shower room)  and one bunk/twin room. There is a further bathroom, a modern well-equipped kitchen and a dining/sitting room with satellite TV (some UK stations), CD player and video. The swimming pool is set in a charming garden with lawn, flowerbeds and paved terraces/patio - recently added is a fabulous shaded porch area, which is a real "garden room" with ample space for dining and relaxing al fresco, plus an outdoor kitchen with barbecue, hob, second fridge, etc. An added bonus is that the villa is fully wheelchair-friendly, with ramps from the driveway into the house and the main bathroom being wheelchair accessible. At the moment there are shallow steps into the pool (no ramp), but we are planning to install a hoist for summer 2007. For out of season holidays, there is a wood burning stove in the sitting room, and there is air conditioning/heating throughout the villa.
